Delivery & Shipping
Everything you need to know about our delivery and shipping options
Our cut-off time for next-day delivery is 9am on the day of dispatch. We dispatch Monday to Thursday for next working day deliver via DPD. We do not dispatch via DPD on: Bank Holiday Mondays, Holy Thursday (as DPD does not operate on Good Friday)
We dispatch Monday to Thursday only via DPD. DPD does not deliver for us on Saturdays, Sundays, or Mondays.
No. DPD does not deliver on Saturday / Sunday / Monday. For urgent weekend installations, we may be able to assist via our Balloons le Grá local delivery van, depending on availability. Please contact: 📞 066 401 3100, 📧 hello@balloonslegra.ie, 📧 sales@balloonslegra.ie (corporate & weddings)
Yes — we deliver anywhere in Ireland, including Northern Ireland.
No. DPD provides customers with a delivery window directly. Delivery notifications come from "SURPRISE", so if your order is a gift, the recipient will not know what the parcel contains.
Courier delays are outside of our control. Any delivery issues are handled case by case. Please email: 📧 hello@balloonslegra.ie. We always do our best to help.
Collection
Information about our collection service and policies
Orders are guaranteed until 5pm on the agreed collection day. If not collected, we will hold the balloon until the following day at 5pm. Payment remains due even if: The event is cancelled, The customer does not collect. For larger installs (arches, corporate, weddings), cancellation terms differ as stock and preparation begin in advance. Get in touch if you have any specific case questions.
No. Once the order is made and ready for collect, it is up to the customer to collect the balloon. We guarantee balloons up until 5pm on the agreed collection day only. Bubbles tend to last a very long time, but latex is type balloon that has a faster deflation rate.
Yes — but please call us first. 📞 066 401 3100. We regularly accommodate short deadlines, but availability depends on workload.
Personalisation

No. We do not send design proofs before dispatch. We create personalised balloons daily and use layouts refined and approved over time. By placing an order, you trust our design expertise. We reserve full creative discretion over layout, spacing, and vinyl placement.
Customers are fully responsible for spelling provided at checkout. Examples: Sean / Shawn / Seán, Eoin / Owen / Eoghan. We copy wording exactly as submitted.
We offer delivery via DPD to anywhere in Ireland.
Weddings & Events
Information about our wedding and event services, deposits, and policies
Yes. A 30% deposit is required to secure your date. The remaining balance is due 1 week prior to setup.
Deposits are non-refundable once paid. This secures your date and covers planning, preparation, and reserved stock.
Cancellations must be made at least 4 days before setup. Late cancellations may result in full payment being due, depending on preparation completed.
We provide a complete package price. We do not break down individual costs as installations involve multiple components including labour, transport, materials, and design time.
Yes. We reserve the right to photograph and share balloons and installations we create for marketing and social media purposes. If you require discretion for a private event, please inform us in advance.
Balloon Care & Liability
Important information about balloon care and our liability policies
Yes. Helium expands in heat and contracts in cold. This means: Balloons may appear smaller in cold weather, Balloons may expand in warm environments. This is normal and not a fault.
Yes. In cold weather, foil balloons temporarily shrink. Once returned to room temperature, they typically return to normal size.
Once balloons leave our premises, responsibility transfers to the customer. We cannot be responsible for: Damage during transport, Exposure to heat or cold, Contact with sharp objects, Improper handling. If a balloon is faulty on collection and reported immediately, we will assess the situation case by case.
Corporate Clients
Information for corporate clients and business inquiries
Yes. Invoices are issued from: 📧 accounts@balloonslegra.ie
If your company requires a PO number, please send it to us and we will include it on your invoice.
Standard corporate payment terms are 7 days unless agreed otherwise.
Payments

We accept: Card, Apple Pay, Klarna, Bank Transfer, Cash (in-store), Cheque (corporate, case by case)
Yes. All online orders must be paid in full at checkout. For installations and corporate bookings, deposits apply as outlined above. For in-store orders, made in store - we offer a pay on collection service.
If stock has been ordered, vinyl cut, or preparation started, cancellation fees apply. If cancellation occurs after production begins, full payment may still be due.
